1. Information We Collect

For Customers:

• Personal Information: Name, mobile number, email address, city, profile photo.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates to match you with nearby available partners.
• Account Data: Password (stored encrypted), referral code, wallet/credit balance.
• Booking Data: Order/service history, schedule, addresses, order status.
• Payment Information: Transaction details (we do not store full card/bank details — handled by our payment gateway).
• Device & Usage Data: Device model, OS version, unique identifiers, OTP verification logs, app usage.

For Partners:

• Personal Information: Name, mobile number, email address, city, address, profile photo.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates used for job-matching within your configured service radius.
• Account Data: Password (stored encrypted).
• Work Data: Job accept/reject history, completed orders, ratings & reviews, earnings, wallet/credit balance.
• Payment Information: Payout/transaction details (we do not store full bank details — handled by our payment gateway).
• Device & Usage Data: Device model, OS version, unique identifiers, OTP verification logs, app usage.

Partner KYC Information: To verify Partner identity, eligibility and safety, RojKam may collect and process Aadhaar details and Aadhaar document/photo, and where provided, PAN details/documents and police verification documents. Such information is used for identity verification, fraud prevention, platform safety, compliance and account approval. KYC documents are accessible only to authorised personnel and are not displayed or shared with ordinary Customers or other Partners except where required by law.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage Customer and Partner accounts.
• To match Customers with available, nearby Partners for service bookings.
• To notify Partners of new job requests within their service radius.
• To process bookings, job assignments, and payments securely.
• To send booking confirmations, OTPs, and service-related notifications.
• To display ratings/reviews to help Customers choose Partners.
• To calculate and pay out Partner earnings.
• To improve our platform, features, and user experience.
• To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
• To send occasional promotional messages (you can opt out at any time).

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We only share limited information, strictly as necessary, with:

• Between Customer and Partner: When a booking is matched, the Customer's name, address/location, and order details are shared with the assigned Partner, and the Partner's name, location, and profile/rating are shared with the Customer — only as necessary to fulfil the booking.
• Service Providers: Payment gateways, SMS/OTP providers, cloud hosting services — only as necessary to operate the platform, and bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Advertising & Analytics Partners: Limited device and app-activity data shared with partners such as Meta strictly for ad measurement — see Section 7 for details.
• Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or government regulation.

4. Location Data

RojKam uses your device location for two purposes: to match Customers with nearby available Partners, and to notify Partners of jobs within their service radius. Location access is requested only when the app is in use. You can disable location permissions from your device settings, though this may limit app functionality (e.g., you may not be matched with nearby users).

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the unlikely event of a data breach that risks your rights or personal information, we will notify affected users and the relevant regulatory authority within the timeframe required by applicable law, and take reasonable steps to contain, investigate, and remediate the breach.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyse traffic, and personalise content. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the website.

7. Advertising & Analytics

We use Meta (Facebook) technologies to run ads and measure how our app is used. This involves sharing limited information with Meta Platforms, Inc. - such as your device's advertising ID and app activity events (for example, app installs, account registration, and completed bookings) - so we can measure ad performance and reach relevant users. You can limit ad tracking at any time from your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads / Google > Ads).

8. Children's Privacy

RojKam (Customer and Partner apps) is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

• Access: You can view the personal data we hold about you through your Customer or Partner profile.
• Correction: You can update your information at any time from account settings.
• Deletion: You can request account deletion (Customer or Partner) by contacting us. Once deleted, your profile and personal data are removed from active use. Certain data — such as completed order and payout records — may be retained for the period required by applicable tax/financial law (typically up to 7 years) for legal/financial compliance, after which it is securely deleted.
• Opt-out: You can opt out of promotional communications through the app settings or by emailing us.

10. Platform Role & Liability

RojKam is only a technology platform that facilitates the connection between Customers and Partners; our role is limited to matching and connecting the two parties. RojKam is not responsible or liable for any theft, loss, fraud, injury, or other illegal/unlawful act committed by a Customer or Partner against the other party, on the platform or otherwise in connection with a booking. Such incidents are a matter solely between the concerned users and must be reported directly to the local Police/legal authorities. 11. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
